Mission

The web is full of beautifully crafted landing pages that promise revolutionary products. Some deliver. Many don't. Unveil exists to help you tell the difference before you invest time, money, or trust.

We analyze web properties using heuristic signals—technology fingerprints, network behavior, security configuration, and behavioral markers—to generate a "Reality Score" that indicates how likely a site represents a genuine, functional product versus marketing theater.

Principles

Transparency

We show our work. Every signal, every marker, every scoring factor is visible and explained.

Non-Invasive

We only analyze publicly accessible information. No authentication bypass, no exploitation.

Privacy-First

We don't store scan results or personal data. Analysis happens, results display, data disappears.

Heuristic, Not Definitive

Reality Scores are informed estimates, not verdicts. Use them as one input among many.

Safe Scanning Policy

Unveil operates under strict ethical guidelines designed to protect both target sites and users:

  • We make only standard HTTP requests that any web browser would make
  • We respect robots.txt directives and rate limits
  • We never attempt authentication bypass or credential testing
  • We don't submit forms, create accounts, or modify any data
  • Analysis is based solely on passive observation of public responses

Known Limitations

Unveil's analysis has inherent limitations you should understand:

  • Authentication-gated features cannot be analyzed
  • Mobile apps and native integrations are outside scope
  • A low score doesn't mean a product is fake—just that public signals are limited
  • A high score doesn't guarantee product quality or business viability
